A ring that fits well not only feels right – it becomes a part of you. Each of our rings is custom-made to order – in your size, for your hand.
To ensure it fits perfectly from the start, accurate size determination is crucial.
Anyone deciding on a custom-made ring can take their time to get it right.
Fit
Your ring should slide over your finger joint with slight pressure and offer some resistance when you take it off.
It will then sit securely without feeling tight.
Width of the Ring
Narrow rings often feel a bit looser than wider ones. When determining your size, ideally use a ring of similar width as a reference.
Everyday Changes
Fingers change throughout the day. Heat and cold can influence ring size.
It can be helpful to measure your size at different times of the day.
There are many methods to determine ring size – but from experience, we only recommend one:
Order a plastic or metal ring sizer, as shown in the photo. These are available worldwide, usually cost between CHF 5.– and 25.–, and provide very reliable results.
Make sure the individual rings of the sizer are about 3–4 mm wide. This provides a good average for narrow and wide rings.
If you cannot visit us in person, we also offer consultations via video or phone.
We take just as much time as we would in person – for questions about ring shapes, sizes, engravings, or gifts. Very personal and at your leisure.
